Reforestation with indigenous plant species

Contact person: Drs. John de Freitas MBA

Carmabi staff and personnel now have more than eight years of experience in highly successful reforestation in the Leeward Dutch Antilles, based exclusively on native species.  The organization has experience at over fifteen sites on Curacao and Bonaire, under a wide variety of environmental and geological conditions. More than 100 native species have been used. The various projects have focussed on such topics as ecological restoration, species protection, erosion controll, environmental mitigation, and roadside landscaping.
