WILLEMSTAD – In celebration of Carmabi’s 70th anniversary, Maduro & Curiel’s Bank (MCB) has donated ANG 70,000 to support the organization’s education department. The donation was officially presented during a festive event on June 19 in the garden of the Curaçao Museum, where MCB also marked the transition of leadership from outgoing CEO Chicu Capriles to new CEO Quinten Fraai.

The funds will be used to strengthen and expand Carmabi’s educational programs, which aim to inspire a new generation to connect with Curaçao’s unique nature and marine environment.

"This donation gives a real boost to our mission of connecting young people to nature and science," says Cor Hameete, Head of Education at Carmabi. "We’re excited to create even more meaningful learning experiences, both inside and outside the classroom."

The Curaçao Museum, which is celebrating its 77th anniversary this year, also received a symbolic donation of ANG 77,000 from MCB.

Carmabi is grateful for MCB’s continued support of nature, science, and education on the island.
