Willemstad, Curaçao – Approximately 200 students from VSBO 4 of SGO Jacques Ferrandi and Havo/VWO 4 of the MIL watched the film Ocean by David Attenborough at Teatro Norman de Palm (Luna Blou).
The impressive documentary showcases both the beauty and vulnerability of the underwater world and highlights issues such as overfishing and nature conservation. These themes are highly relevant to Curaçao, where marine life and coral reefs are under increasing pressure.
The screening was an initiative of Carmabi and WWF, aimed at raising awareness among young people about their natural environment, both locally and globally, and inspiring them to take responsibility for the protection of the oceans.
